Sen. Chuck Morse

Senator Chuck Morse is the GOP leader in the State Senate, representing the towns of Atkinson, Pelham, Plaistow and Salem.   Now serving his 7th term in the Senate, Senator Morse is widely regarded as one of New Hampshire’s leading fiscal conservatives and small business champions.   

 

During his five year tenure as Senate President, Senator Morse provided essential leadership in implementing policies that grew New Hampshire’s economy, reduced the state’s business taxes, filled the State’s Rainy Day Fund, took on our state’s addiction and mental health challenges, and cared for our most vulnerable populations.  

 

The result is record low unemployment and a quality of life that is the envy of the region.   Senator Morse has been honored regularly for his legislative accomplishments, having been recognized by the Josiah Bartlett Center, the New Hampshire Healthcare Association, the NH Association of Counties and Elliot Health System among others.

A successful small businessman, Senator Morse is the President of Freshwater Farms and Garden Center in Atkinson and Granite Creek Farms in Brentwood.  Senator Morse is also a devoted community leader, having previously served as both Selectman and Moderator for the Town of Salem, who has worked tirelessly to support charitable endeavors in his community.

A graduate of Plymouth State University and current Trustee for the University System of New Hampshire, Senator Morse lives in Salem with his wife Susan, his daughter Emma and their golden retriever Spruce.
