Sen. Ruth Ward

Senator Ruth Ward is a grandmother, a retired nurse practitioner, a community leader and a conservative consensus builder.  Senator Ward has lived in Senate District 8 for over 20 years and has lived with her family in Stoddard since 1995.  She has served on several statewide boards and commissions including as a Land Steward for the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, the NH Rivers Management Advisory Council, and on the Board of Advisors of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC).  

 

She is a master weaver and is juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen and has served as a Trustee of the American Textile History Museum. She lives in Stoddard with her husband and they have nine grown children.  She serves on the Education & Workforce Development Committee and the Transportation Committee.
